Flame weeding is a simple, cost efficient, non-toxic weed
control for hard to weed crops and orchards. Saves hours of hand weeding. Ideal
for pre-emergence weed control on slow germinating crops such as carrots, beets,
onions, parsnips, etc.
These light-weight flamers were developed and tested in our own market
garden. We are pleased to make them available to our fellow farmers and market
gardeners.
The 4 and 5-torch walk-behind models fill the niche between
a single
hand-held torch and the tractor-mounted tool bar models. They are ideal for
market gardens and CSAs.
